Governor Cuomo says New York's coronavirus numbers continue to remain low.

According to the governor, in the past 24 hours there were 572 new cases and five deaths across the state due to the coronavirus. There were no deaths here in the city. 

Hospitalizations dropped to 472 — a new low since March 16th. The numbers of ICU Patients and Intubations are also at their lowest levels since mid-March.

Of the more than 74,000 tests conducted yesterday, 0.77% came back positive. That's the 16th day in a row of the positivity rate staying below one percent. 

There are more than 429,000 cases in the state and there have been more than 25,000 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Governor Cuomo also said the State Liquor Authority and State Police Task Force handed out violations yesterday to 13 city establishments for not obeying social distancing and mask wearing protocols. There were ten in Brooklyn and three in Queens.
