The Flatiron Nomad Business Improvement District hosts a plant-based food fair starting Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Flatiron North Plaza.
It’s a way to showcase healthier food options, but it also highlights a growing business sector in the neighborhood.
Over the past two years, the number of plant-based restaurants have doubled.
The weekend chow down is in collaboration with the business improvement district and Michelin star restaurant Eleven Madison Park.
The high-end restaurant notably changed its entire menu to vegan when it reopened after closing down due to the pandemic.
