1997...Terror atop the Empire State Building as a gunman opens fire on the observation deck, killing one and injuring six others. The triggerman, Ali Abu Kamal, a Palestinian from Gaza, then turns the gun on himself. The tragic shooting sparks heightened security measures at the landmark building.
