1934...The New York Giants capture their second pro football championship, defeating the Chicago Bears 30-13 on a cold and icy day at the Polo Grounds. The showdown becomes famous as the "Sneaker Game," as a result of Giants coach Steve Owen's halftime order to wear sneakers for better footing on the slick turf.
