A man who says he was beaten and robbed by one of the two suspects accused of killing police officer Peter Figoski testified in court Tuesday.
Confessed drug dealer Jose Hernandez said Lamont Pride was looking to rob him of money and marijuana.
Police were responding to a 911 call at Hernandez’s Brooklyn apartment the night Figoski was killed in December of 2011.
Figoski’s family was in the courtroom again Tuesday as the trial of Pride and Michael Velez continued.
Pride allegedly admitted that he shot Figoski but didn't intend to kill him.
Velez allegedly drove the getaway car.
Both men are charged with murder.
