Toy Gun Causes Brief Scare At Bronx School

A Bronx elementary school was briefly placed on lockdown Tuesday after police say a student told a teacher someone was inside with a gun.
It happened at the Crotona Park West School located at 1701 Fulton Avenue in Bathgate.
The entire campus, which houses several schools, was locked down for a short time while police investigated.
The Department of Education says the weapon turned out to be a toy gun.
