MoMA PS1 Wants To Build Performance Dome In The Rockaways

Plans are in the works to bring a unique performance dome to the Rockaways.
MoMA PS1, a nonprofit focusing on contemporary art, is working with city officials to find a location for the project, which would be similar in appearance to the Long Island City dome from the same group seen above.
Funding has been secured from Volkswagen.
The space would be used for cultural events to help relief efforts in the Rockaways, an area battered by Hurricane Sandy.
The timing of any potential deal on a location is unclear.
