Port Authority To Install High-Efficiency Lights In Holland Tunnel

The Port Authority announced a new initiative Thursday, saying it will replace the more than 3,300 florescent lamps in the north and south tubes of the Holland Tunnel with high-efficiency LED lights.
The agency says the move will save an estimated $250,000 per year in energy costs.
