A tribute to Marilyn Monroe is now on display at two subway stations.
Photos of the actress, including an iconic shot taken on Lexington Avenue, are being showcased at two locations, inside the 42nd Street-Bryant Park station and outside the subway station at the corner of 42nd Street and Broadway, just outside the Times Square subway station.
The snapshots were taken by Sam Shaw, who spent a day photographing Monroe at various locations in the city in 1954.
Eight of those photos are now on display as part of the MTA's Arts for Transit and Urban Lightbox Exhibition.
They'll remain in the system for a year.
Marilyn Monroe passed away more than 50 years ago on August 5, 1962.
