The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is calling a report about its upcoming fare hike plan premature.
The Daily News cites sources as saying the agency's final fare-hike package will lower the minimum for getting a discount to $5 from the current $10.
The bonus is expected to be trimmed to five percent from seven percent.
The News also says the base fare will likely go up from $2.25 to $2.50.
Seven-day cards would go from $29 to $30 dollars, and 30-day cards would rise from $104 to $112.
The MTA says its board is still considering the structure of its fare and toll increases and does not plan to vote on them until December 19.
