It looks like David Wright will be a Met for life.
WFAN first reported the third baseman has signed an extension to keep him with the club through 2020.
The contract adds seven years and $122 million dollars to his 2013 salary of $16 million.
The deal is the richest in Mets history.
Wright is already the Mets' all time leader in hits.
Meanwhile, Mariano Rivera is coming back to the Bronx, agreeing to a $10 million contract to pitch for the Yankees next season.
The Yankees now turn their focus to finding a catcher following Russell Martin's departure. He's reportedly agreed to a two year deal with the Pirates.
