Two Queens Schools Damaged By Sandy Set To Reopen Tuesday

Two more schools in the Belle Harbor section of Queens that were damaged by Hurricane Sandy are set to reopen Tuesday.


P.S. 114 and P.S. Q256 were completely flooded by the storm, and P.S. 114 also had a serious oil spill.


As of Tuesday, 12 schools and programs serving about 5,400 students will still be in temporary locations, according to the Department of Education.
