More subway service was restored by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority on Sunday, but service for the Monday morning commute will remain far from normal.

As of late Sunday night, the MTA says that limited E train service has resumed between Jamaica-Parsons/Archer Station in Queens and the World Trade Center station in Manhattan. A train service is also restored on a limited basis between 168th Street in Manhattan and Lefferts Boulevard in Queens, according to the MTA.

Limited 1 trains are running from 242nd Street to 14th Street, limited 2 trains a running from 241st Street in the Bronx to Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn and limited 3 trains are running from 148th Street in Harlem to New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn.

Limited service has resumed on the D line from 205th Street in the Bronx to Bay Parkway in Brooklyn.

The J train is crossing the Williamsburg Bridge again, making all local stops between Jamaica Center and Essex Street.

Limited M train service is also running once again between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer Station in Queens and Metropolitan Avenue Station in Brooklyn, but M trains are running along the F line between 71st Avenue/Forest Hills Station in Queens and 34th Street-Herald Square in Manhattan.

Before noon Sunday, limited F train service began operating between 179th Street in Queens and Avenue X in Brooklyn.

The MTA website says that Q train service is restored between Kings Highway in Brooklyn and Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard in Queens.

The South Ferry station on the 1 line, which was originally filled with water following Sandy, was dry by Sunday, according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

The MTA is bringing 20 subway cars in trucks to the Rockaways in Queens to serve as the Rockaway shuttle to the bus to Howard Beach, but that service is still days away from running.

The R train's Montague tunnel is also in bad condition, according to the MTA.

The L line flooded extensively and there is still no place to turn around trains past Broadway Junction.

There is still no service on the B, C or G lines.

The 4, 5, 6 and 7 trains resumed full service Saturday.

The Staten Island Railway is also running again, with limited service between St. George and Tottenville.
