Thousands gathered Saturday on Long Island for the funeral of a Nassau County police officer killed in the line of duty in Queens.

Services for Officer Arthur Lopez were held at St. Christopher's Roman Catholic Church in Baldwin, N.Y.

Lopez, 29, was shot and killed during a traffic stop on the Grand Central Parkway on Tuesday morning.

Police say Darrell Fuller shot Lopez in the chest after Lopez pulled him over.

Investigators also say Fuller shot and killed another man, Raymond Facey of Brooklyn, and stole his car.

Fuller faces charges including first-degree murder and robbery.
