NHL Lockout Stays Frosty, Games Off Through Nov. 1

The National Hockey League announced Friday the cancelation of all regular season games through November 1.

It's the second round of regular season games canceled since the lockout began in mid-September.

The number of games lost now stands at 135.

The league and its players association traded proposals for a new collective bargaining agreement this week, but a deal still hasn't been reached.

Revenue sharing is the key sticking point.

The league says a full 82-game season could still be salvaged if a deal is brokered and play resumes by November 2.
