The Broadway adaptation of "Bring It On: The Musical" is set to close at the end of the year.

The cast will perform the final show on December 30 at the St. James Theatre.

It will have played 21 previews and 173 performances.

The critically-acclaimed show opened August 1 and was originally set to close October 7, but was given an additional 12 week run.

Producers say discussions are underway for potential tour dates in the 2013-14 season.
