A collapsing wall at their school sent students at two East Village schools to class in other locations.
Department of Education officials say the wall began to separate from the rest of the building on East 12th Street on Monday.
Students at East Community School will now report to Norman Thomas High School and Girls Prepatory Charter School will temporarily call PS 188 home.
"I don't feel like there's any problem of safety for us," said student Javian Torres. "They got us out and if anything would have happened during the middle of the day, they would have evacuated us right there and got the parents to come and pick us up. So there's no danger, I feel."
No injuries were reported.
The DOE says it doesn't know when repairs at the building will be finished.
