A city traffic agent was arrested late Tuesday and charged with raping a young girl.

Sources tell NY1 25-year-old Charles Taylor met the girl last week and the two decided to get together Sunday.

They say the victim told police they ended up in the stairwell of an apartment building.

There, sources say Taylor gave the girl alcohol and she passed out. Published reports say she woke up in a home in the Bronx, where she was being raped.

Police say Taylor is charged with one count of rape and has been suspended without pay.
