NY1 VIDEO: As NY1 News revisits its 20-year history, the station looks back at reporter Sandra Endo's February 24, 2006 story on the condition of an African dancer and drummer from Manhattan who was diagnosed with inhalation anthrax -- the first such case in the U.S. in more than 30 years.
NY1 FOLLOW-UP: Vado Diomande made a full recovery, and he continues to be a well respected dancer, drummer and choreographer.
