As the medical examiner's office awaits toxicology tests to determine exactly what killed singer Whitney Houston, arrangements for a possible funeral in New Jersey are being made.

An Associated Press source says while details are still being ironed out, the family has raised the possibility of holding a wake and funeral at Newark's Prudential Center by week's end.

The 48-year-old was found unconscious in the bathtub of her room at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday.

An autopsy was done and toxicology tests are being conducted.

Officials say there were no signs of foul play or trauma to the singer's body.

Prescription drugs were reportedly found nearby, but officials will not comment on the reports.

Houston won her first Grammy in 1986.

Her biggest hit was her 1992 cover of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" from the movie "The Bodyguard" in which she made her big-screen debut. In later years, Houston was plagued by substance abuse and seemed to lose her signature voice.

Meantime, Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is out of the hospital.

The teenager was reportedly treated for stress and anxiety following her mother's death.

Her father, performer Bobby Brown issued a statement appealing for "Privacy, especially for his daughter" at this difficult time.

The teenager was in Los Angeles with her mother attending various pre-Grammy events.

Last night's Grammy awards in Los Angeles featured several tributes to the late singer, including a performance of "I Will Always Love You" by singer Jennifer Hudson.

The ceremony was filled with moments of reflection on Houston's career and actually opened up with a moment of prayer led by host LL Cool J.

Artists including Bruno Mars, Rihanna and Stevie Wonder also paid their respects during the show.

It was also a night to recognize the contributions of British singer Adele, who performed for the first time publicly since having throat surgery.

She also walked away with six Grammys, including Record and Song of the Year for "Rolling In the Deep" and Album of the Year for "21."

According to the Nielson Company, last night's show had more than 39 million viewers -- making it the second most watched Grammys in history.
