"Jesus Henry Christ," a comedy directed by Dennis Lee and co-produced by Hollywood star Julia Roberts and her sister, recently premiered at the 10th annual Tribeca Film Festival in Lower Manhattan.

"Dennis Lee, who's the filmmaker, wrote and directed a movie that I was in a number of years ago. And we just think he's so smart and funny and he brought us this piece of material," says Roberts.

Columbia University graduate Dennis Lee won a Student Academy Award and had a precursor of this film at Tribeca a few years back.

George Whipple: This is a longer version of your student film?

Lee: No, the only thing it shares in common with my student film is the name of the title, you know? And the fact that the protagonist is a boy. That's literally it.

Whipple: A lot of people are reporting that it's a remake of your student film.

Lee: Because they have the wrong information.

Jason Spevack plays a 10-year-old boy genius who is trying to find his biological father.

"He's a child prodigy and in the process of trying to find his father, he finds his half-sister and it's just like a comedy following him in his journey," he says.

Samantha Weinstein bonds with Jason in the film.

"The story is about how she and Henry kind of become friends, I guess, and how she starts to accept herself and they begin for form somewhat of a dysfunctional American family," says Weinstein.

Roberts has produced nine movies with her sister, Lisa Gillan. The two sisters are quite tight, never fight and live in the same building.

Whipple: How do you guys work together as sisters?

Gillan: Well, actually.

Whipple: I'd be killing my sister.

Gillan: It's a nice shorthand. It really is.
