Police said Wednesday that they have shut down a major marijuana trafficking ring based in Harlem

Nineteen people are under arrest on charges ranging from murder and racketeering to drug dealing. More arrests are expected.

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said the gang, known as "The Two Mile Posse," had been in operation for at least a decade and generated as much as $$15 million dollars a year in drug proceeds.

The marijuana came from Mexico by way of Arizona and Texas, police said. An estimated 2,000 pounds of marijuana was shipped each month to the Dunbar Housing Development in Harlem, according to authorities.

Kelly says the gang is linked to three murders and suspected in at least four more.
