Prosecutors say that two suspects charged in connection with a deadly fire in Queens shot their victim before setting the place on fire.
The Queens District Attorney says that Stephen Peters, 22, and Jason St. Hill, 17, pistol whipped Azeem Ali, 42, in his Richmond Hill residence before tying him up with an electrical cord.
They say that Peters demanded Ali's ATM card before the pair killed him and later withdrew money from Ali's account.
Prosecutors say the pair allegedly doused the apartment with gasoline and torched it to cover their tracks.
Both are being held without bail and face a long list of charges, including murder, arson, robbery and kidnapping.
