In his weekly radio address, Mayor Michael Bloomberg continued to lay out his policy proposals from last week's State Of The City address.

Bloomberg went over his proposed reforms of the way the New York City Police Department deals with marijuana arrests and how police should continue the controversial stop-and-frisk policy.

"We'll reduce unnecessary jailings for possession of small amounts of marijuana - while also continuing the stop-question-frisk policies that protect us all," Bloomberg said. "And at the national level, we’ll work hard for common-sense gun safety measures that will make our city and our country safer still."

The mayor also outlined plans for reducing the city's carbon footprint and targeting Hurricane Sandy relief to the parts of the city that need it.
