Time Warner Cable made news at the annual Consumer Electronics Show giving customers even more ways to receive TWC TV service.

Through a deal with the streaming device maker Roku, TWC customers will soon be able to access their TV service on a Roku device.

The partnership allows customers to access the TWC TV app and its more than 300 channels of live programming along with internet video from sites such as Netflix, Amazon and Hulu.

"You'll have a channel on the Roku box from Time Warner Cable, be able to browse through different stations and watch it just like you watch TV through your Time Warner Cable box," Roku Senior Vice President of Product Management Jim Funk said. "So for a second bedroom, it's a perfect solution for watching cable."

TWC TV customers will not have to pay extra for the service.

The TWC TV app is already available on various mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
