As revelers rang in the new year, at least seven people were shot across the city early Tuesday morning.
No one was killed in any of the shootings.
The first shooting came just hours after the ball drop at 2 a.m. when a man was hit in the stomach on White Plains Road near Seward Avenue in the Bronx.
Three other shooting incidents also occurred in the Bronx, and shooting incidents also took place in Staten Island, Brooklyn and Queens.
All of them are under investigation with no suspects or arrests at this time.
