Runners registered for last month's cancelled New York City Marathon have some decisions to make.

After a long seven weeks, New York Road Runners announced Thursday its plan to make up for the cancelation which was prompted by Hurricane Sandy.

Runners can choose one of three options. They include a refund of the 2012 entry fee, guaranteed entry for one of the next three ING New York City marathons, or guaranteed entry for next year's New York City Half Marathon, being held on March 17.

There are also refunds available for the other race-week events.

Runners will receive emails in a couple weeks, but the information is available now at INGNYCMarathon.org.
