Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is recovering at home Saturday after fainting and getting a concussion.
The state department issued a statement saying Clinton has been battling a stomach virus.
"[Clinton] will continue to be monitored regularly by her doctors," Deputy Assistant Philippe Reines said in a statement. "At their recommendation, she will continue to work from home next week, staying in regular contact with Department and other officials."
Clinton skipped an overseas trip this week because of the virus.
She is not expected to testify as scheduled at congressional hearings next week on the Sep. 11 attack in Benghazi, Libya.
