Drivers who use the Hugh Carey-Brooklyn Battery Tunnel may want to find an alternate route this weekend.

One tube will be closed from 3 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

It's for maintenance and repair work following Sandy.

One lane will be available in each direction in the other tube.
