Not all the profits from Wednesday's 12.12.12 concert are going to those in need because some people resold tickets for a huge markup, and New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says the concert has drawn attention to ticket scalping and what needs to be done to stop it.

"We've never completely resolved, legislatively, the issue of how we're going to manage scalping," Schneiderman said. "It's not outlawed and there are rules, but they're not always complied with. This is something that ultimately, I think, we do need legislation on and the governor and the legislature should address."

Tickets to the concert were going for tens of thousands of dollars on sites like StubHub.
