The Small Business Administration has extended the deadline for Hurricane Sandy survivors to apply for financial assistance to January 28.
The deadline was previously December 31.
The SBA Disaster Loan Program's goal is to help people not fully covered by insurance with low-interest, long-term loans.
The January 28 deadline is for loans to cover property damage only.
The deadline to apply for "economic injury" loans to make up for lost business is July 31.
To register, call 800-621-FEMA or apply at disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
