Walt Disney World gave NY1's Valarie D'Elia a sneak peek of its new Fantasyland park.
At Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., a New Fantasyland is now a reality.
At center stage is the popular Dumbo The Flying Elephant ride, which is now twice the fun.
“Now we have two Dumbos that guests can also fly on and we have this new area where you don't even feel like you're waiting. Your kids can go and play in different interactive areas until it's your time to go to the attraction area,” says Tye Arnold, one of Disney’s ambassadors.
Dumbo is one part of the upgrade that doubled Fantasyland, the first expansion of Magic Kingdom in 41 years
Premiering at a media blitz hosted by Disney, Fantasyland is projected to be completed by 2014.
Laid out fairy-tale style, the new Fantasyland is designed to transport families inside their favorite childhood stories through rides, interactive play areas and restaurants.
Take a break at Gaston's Tavern with a glass of LeFou's Brew. The eatery is part of Belle's Village, one of many tributes to the princess from Disney's "Beauty And The Beast."
All little princesses can get dressed for dinner in the formal Be Our Guest Restaurant, an elegant ballroom that seats 550.
From one princess to another, the familiar Cinderella Castle now has company with two more icons piercing the skyline. The Beast's Castle and Prince Eric's castle loom over the entrance to the brand new underwater home of Ariel the Little Mermaid.
