The Empire State Building put on its first ever light show Monday night to show off its new LED lighting system.

The show was set to music by singer-songwriter Alicia Keys that was played simultaneously on four local radio stations.

The building's staff will soon begin creating customized light shows to support different events, organizations and causes.
