Six years after the death of Sean Bell, who was killed by police on his wedding day, family and friends mourned him Sunday at the community center in Jamaica, Queens that bears his name.

They lit candles and said a prayer in honor of the slain groom who was celebrating his bachelor party the night he was gunned down in a hail of 50 police bullets.

"Every day around the 25th it's the same. It seems like it just happened," said William Bell, Sean's father. "It don't go away that easy, you know, and that's the sad thing about it. Every year around the same time it just like, it really gets to me."

Bell and his friends were leaving Club Kalua when undercover police officers stopped the car they were in, believing the group was going to take part in a drive-by shooting.

Detective Gescard Isnora, who fired the first shot, was terminated from the New York City Police Department.

Three other officers were forced to resign.
