The Powerball jackpot is heading to an all-time high of $425 million, after nobody matched the winning numbers in Saturday night's drawing.

The jackpot has increased by $100 million, and the amount could increase as the Wednesday drawing approaches.

Powerball is played in 42 states including New York, Washington D.C. and the Virgin Islands.

The previous top prize for Powerball was $365 million in 2006.
