Children who lost their homes during Hurricane Sandy are getting a chance to have fun again.
Camp TLC is running a free weekend retreat for kids currently living at Mount Manresa.
At the camp, children play games, dance and do art projects.
This weekend, kids were treated to a concert from Paulie Z of the educational music program Rock Asylum.
Founders say the camp occupies the children while allowing their parents time to get their lives back together.
"It's been really, really chaotic and they've lost everything, and this just kind of gives the kids an opportunity to play again," said Caroline Baumis, the executive director of Camp TLC.
"It's wonderful," said Zarlasht Gholam, a mother of campers. "It's a wonderful change to bring them back to normal."
The camp will run every Saturday until the end of the year.
