The popular exhibition "Discovering Columbus" at Columbus Circle is sticking around for two more weeks.
The large-scale installation by Japanese artist Tatzu Nishi enclosed the normally open-air 13-feet-tall statue of Christopher Columbus at 59th street in a well-furnished apartment.
Visitors can see the room, the statue and the Manhattan skyline by climbing 60-feet into the air.
It has proven to be very popular and that is why the exhibit is being extended.
Free tickets can be reserved at publicartfund.org.
