The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has announced dates for the final fare hike hearings, which were postponed in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

The Long Island hearing will take place at 5 p.m. next Tuesday at the Melville Marriott.

The Staten Island hearing will be held at 5 p.m. next Wednesday in the Springer Concert Hall at the College of Staten Island.

The hearings will give residents one more chance to chime in on several proposals by the transit authority to increase subway, bus, rail and toll prices.
