A well-known chef helped the ASPCA open an emergency animal shelter in Brooklyn.
TV personality Rachel Ray donated $500,000 to the society to open the facility in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
For the next 30 days, the shelter will take in rescued animals and give owners a place to temporarily send their pets.
Pet owners can drop off their animals directly at 1508 Herkimer Street.
They can also take their animals to several other locations this week.
On Monday, one will be open at the Waldbaum's parking lot at 112-15 Beach Channel Drive in Belle Harbor.
On Tuesday, two more locations will open — one at Rock-a-pup at 145 Beach 116th Street in Rockaway Park in Queens and the other at MCU Park parking lot at Surf Avenue and 19th Street in Coney Island in Brooklyn.
