NY1 VIDEO: On October 20, 2011, ousted Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi was killed by a mob of rebel opponents. NY1's Jon Weinstein filed a report that day on the leader believed to have plotted the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, which killed 270 people, including the sister of a Staten Island man.
NY1 FOLLOW-UP: The bomber in the Lockerbie attack died of cancer in May. To date, he remains the only person to have been convicted for the attack on Pan Am Flight 103.
