A viewing was held Thursday for another victim of Monday's crash on Long Island.

Peter Anthony was one of four 18-year-olds killed when state police say their friend, 17-year-old Joseph Bier, lost control of his Subaru around 4 a.m. on the Southern State Parkway.

The car crashed into some trees and was torn in two.

Authorities said Bier only had a learner's permit and should not have been driving without a fully-licensed adult in the car.

Friends said they don't blame him for the tragedy.

"A lot of people right now, they want to blame Joseph and stuff," said one. "But Joseph could have gone too, you know. It could have been him too. And it really wasn't Joseph's fault because, you know, that wasn't his purpose."

"I've been in the car with Joseph before," said another. "Joseph could drive perfectly fine. I know for a fact that it hurts him even more knowing that he was the driver that killed his best friends."

Authorities are awaiting toxicology results as the investigation continues.
