The Yankees will set off on the road toward a 28th World Championship Sunday night when they take on the Orioles in Game 1 of the American League Division Series.
The team spent Saturday working out at Camden Yards in Baltimore.
The first two games will be in Baltimore before the series shifts to the Bronx.
The teams split the 18 games the played this season, with each side winning nine times.
"Our series between them over the course of the year was tied,". You look at the last four games we had here - tied. Very close in the number of runs scored and ERAs. It should be a great series."
"If you keep playing and keep winning,- the competition continues to be good and gets stronger,". And the Yankees definitely fit that mold."
The Orioles secured their spot by beating the Rangers in the wild card game Friday night.
This is Baltimore's first post-season appearance since 1997.
