Bookworms burrowed into a reader's paradise at the free events at the seventh annual Brooklyn Book Festival on Sunday.

Authors joined book lovers, sellers and literary organizations at Borough Hall and Plaza and other nearby locations for readings, panels and a literary marketplace.

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz calls the event one of the world's most prestigious free literary festivals.
