Two new medical procedures are making it easier than ever to erase wrinkles without the bruising and swelling. NY1's Cheryl Wills filed the following report.
Lindsey Passaro is fed up with the lines around her eyes but she says neither surgery nor injections are an option for her.
"I've always had under eye-wrinkles. I've definitely did my share of sunning and partying," says Passaro. "I noticed it right away. I've never had a treatment of anything done."
She is willing to give the "I-Fine" treatment a try. No cutting or injections are involved, just a small handpiece that transmits radio frequency energy to the delicate areas around the eye.
Doctors at Sadick Dermatology Group on the Upper East Side are among the first in the country to use I-Fine.

"It sends the energy deep into the tissue and stimulates collagen production," says Dr. Zeena Aldujaili of the Sadick Dermatology Group.
Doctors also say the smaller hand piece dramatically reduces the risk of burning and swelling.
It takes several treatments to get noticeable results, but before and after pictures taken just moments after the first treatment show a slight change without the typical bruising.
I-Fine is not the only new technology for erasing wrinkles. Doctors call the Artise procedure a 'liquid facelift," and 65-year-old grandmother Elyse Berman is giving it a try.
"I'd like to see some smooth-out of my wrinkles and lines and pump up some of the falling spots," says Berman.
Doctors at Sadick Dermatology say the technology dramatically reduces the risk of bruising when injecting fillers.

"In the past, we used fillers manually, so the physician tasks the syringe and injects it into the patient's face or neck of whatever. This is an automated system so it's more controlled," says Dr. Cheryl Karcher of the Sadick Dermatology Group.
It's controlled because a machine, rather than a doctor, pumps the filler into skin.
These before and after pictures may not be dramatic after just one Artise treatment, but patients and doctors say the absence of swelling and black and blue marks are a major plus.
