A Staten Island teenager is under arrest for allegedly robbing an elderly couple in their Oakwood home.

The couple says after it happened, the teen asked them for the number of a cab company so he could get home.

Ronald Baker, 19, allegedly took $15,000 in cash and jewelry from the victims before locking the 85-year-old man and his 71-year-old wife and their 46-year-old daughter, who they live with, into a closet.

They were able to free themselves and call police, who tracked the cab down not far from Baker's home.

The Staten Island district attorney's office says he is charged with multiple counts of burglary and robbery.

The search continued Friday for an alleged accomplice. Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
