Riders can access the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's popular "Weekender" service on their smartphones.
The service is now available as an app for iPhones, the iPod Touch and iPads. An Android version is in development.
The app has all the same features as the web-based version, including subway diagrams with all weekend service changes that can be viewed by line, station or borough.
The application is free and can be downloaded from Apple's App Store.
The MTA says updated versions in the future will include the agency's Trip Planner, which lets riders customize their routes.
