The Yankees are kings of New York for now, as they swept the Mets in the Subway Series, finishing off the Amazins with a 5-4 Sunday win in Yankee Stadium.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Mets were up 3-0 when Russell Martin lined one just over the right field fence to bring the Bronx Bombers within 1.
The Yanks took a 4-3 lead in the next inning, but in the top of the ninth, Ike Davis doubled off of Rafael Soriano with a man on second to tie it up at 4.
Then, in the bottom of the ninth, Martin scored his second homer on the day, a walk-off.
The Yankees stay a half-game behind Tampa Bay for first place in the AL East while the Mets dropped 4.5 games behind the Washington Nationals in the NL East.
