Three North American river otter pups made their debut Thursday at Brooklyn's Prospect Park Zoo.

Born in February, the pups are the first of their species to be born in a New York City zoo since 1956.

River otters are usually found near lakes and rivers in parts of Canada, the Upper Great Lakes and New England.

The otter pups will be part of the zoo's Discovery exhibit.
