A new poll by Travel and Leisure Magazine puts LaGuardia Airport at the end of the list when it comes to the country's air transit hubs.

Readers who weighed in put the airport at the bottom of the heap for baggage handling, check-in and security procedures and argue it could be cleaner.

The poll also shows LaGuardia is the worst when it comes to staff communication and lack of WiFi hotspots.

While many travelers who spoke with NY1 echoed the poll's findings, others did have a few good things to say about the airport.

This is just kind of dingy and doesn't have great shops or restaurants or place to get coffee," said one traveler.

"The only issue I have is always customer service. Like sometimes customer service is not, uh don't act promptly," said another traveler.

"So far so good," said a third. "I mean I parked right away, quite quickly. Easy access across the gateway to here and I have my boarding pass online and hopefully things will go well at the gate. So, so far so good."

As for the other area airports, JFK ranked fourth worst and Newark Liberty came in fifth worst.

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was voted the best in the country.
