Police are looking for a man who they say groped and punched a woman in Queens over the weekend.

The woman was heading to her Sunnyside Gardens home from the 7 train Sunday around 5:45 a.m.

She told police a man grabbed her from behind and attacked her.

The 30-year-old suffered a cut on her head in the scuffle.

A neighbor rushed to the victim's aid after hearing her calls for help.

"I heard the cries over here, when I got to about here the guy noticed I was here, he jumped here and ran off, and she was laying here in the bushes," said neighbor Michael Novak. "I got her, picked her out of the bushes and I brought her into my house and you know we got her cleaned up and called the police."

Police say it's unclear whether the incident is connected to the serial gropings recently in Jackson Heights.

The description of the suspect is similar as being about 5'5" tall.

Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
